Thousands took the streets of Jerusalem on Thursday, marching in Jerusalem’s gay pride parade amidst heavy security guard.
Revelers carried rainbow flags, banged drums and sang songs against homophobia.
Roads in central Jerusalem were blocked to secure the event, while far-right activists held a rally nearby against the parade.
The police have detained at least 22 suspects who attempted to disrupt the parade.
